Terms of Service

MakePhotosAlive lets you upload a photo and a text description, and generates a short animated video from them using a third-party AI image-to-video model.

You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.

• Some features require credits, consumed one per generation.
• Credits can be bought as one-time top-ups or granted monthly through a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, credits and subscription payments are non-refundable, including for generations that don't produce the result you wanted.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the videos we generate for you. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and you grant us a limited license to process it — including sending it to our AI generation provider — solely to provide the Service to you.

You agree not to upload photos or prompts that:

• you don't have the right to use, or that depict another identifiable person without their consent;
• are illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or otherwise seriously harmful;
• infringe someone else's intellectual property rights; or
• you use to harass, defame, or impersonate someone.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.

Providing the Service relies on third parties, including Supabase (accounts and data storage), fal.ai (AI video generation), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Using the Service means your data may be processed by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service and any generated video are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI-generated results can be unpredictable, and we don't guarantee any particular outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll try to let you know (for example, by email) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service afterward means you accept the updated Terms.
